Our production will be closed week 29-31.
We will have the office partly open during week 28 and 31.

More products with the eco-label Swan.
Fist out was our award-winning chair Rib.
Now we are working to Ecolabel also the chair Carat, designed by Mattias Ljunggren, indicating that the product is a good environmental choice from a variety of criteria.
We continue our environmental strategy for sustainable consumption and you can expect more of our products will be branded with the Swan logo.

New members in the U-sit family.
We would like to introduce some new elements to our U-Sit range.
U-sit, the optimal sofa system with variety of shapes.
We are extending the U-Site family with practical "half corners”, flexible modules as a complement to the larger sections, and with new poufs of diameters 70, 80, 100 and 120cm - all to create a perfect matched environment.

As Helen Wallgren will end her job at our export department we wish her all the best in her new career and at the same time we want to welcome our new Export Assistant, Lina Johnsson.

Lina will handle all various issues related to Export Sales.

THE SWAN HAS LANDED
As a part of Johanson Design´s environmental strategy, we put focus on the Nordic Ecolabel "Swan" on several of our products. First up is our award-winning model Rib, which is available as a stackable chair - with or without armrest and as a barstoo.

CLERKENWELL DESIGN WEEK 25-27/5
Johanson Design will exhibit at the Clerkenwell Design Week which is a three-day annual festival celebrating design´s creative richness, its social impact and its power for change.
The festival will offer a programme of seminars, workshops and debates that tackle key issue from a design standpoint.
Big names and inspiration thought leaders will spearhead an event crammed with left-field thinking, off-the-wall performences and presentations to challenge all your preconceptions.

TRANSIT by Alexander Lervik at Nordic Light Hotel
From 8 February until April, industry folk and the general public will be able to experience the flight and travel-inspiring installation, which alludes to the baggage that we carry with us. ”I’m very proud and regard this opportunity to be seen at Nordic Light Hotel during Stockholm Design Week as a challenge. I have always been fascinated by the hotel milieu and I wanted to create an exhibition that links us to the physical setting. The hotel is a temporary home when you’re on the move. At the same time it’s a venue for new meetings between people, each with their own story and personal situation in their baggage,” says Alexander Lervik.

SPEED BARSTOOL by Johan Lindstén
Speed barstool is a new barstol by designer Johan Lindstén produced by Johanson Design Ab. The seat is laminated wood upholstered in fabric embraced by a tubular steel frame construction. The visable and well shown frame makes the chair easy to customized in terms of color and upholstery.

PLAIN TABLE BASE prepared for powertube
Johanson Design is now introducing a new type of table base. This base is prepared for powertube and will be available in black, white and chrome. You can use this base with a tabletop with diameter up to 180cm.
